Climbing Mount Toubkal - Trek from Marrakech 3days/2 nights
TOUBKAL ASCENSION PROGRAM: medium level, 4-5 hours of walking per day
DAY 1: : Marrakech (450 m) - ASNI - AIT MISANE VALLEY - IMLIL (1750 m) - TOUBKAL REFUGE (3200 m) Departure from your hotel in 8h in the morning in 4x4 in Imli via Asni and the valley of the walnut trees of Ait Misane, meeting with our team of mule drivers in Imlil (portage on the back of mules) and departure with the mules towards Aremd 1905 m, last village of the valley then 2H to the famous marabout of Sidi Chemharouch 2250m. Camp at the Toubkal refuge. Dinner and night in bivouac under tent.
Transport 1H, 5H walk.
DAY 2: TOUBKAL REFUGE - TOUBKAL SUMMIT (4167 M) - TOUBKAL REFUGE
Breakfast at 6am and departure for the summit of Toubkal. Arrival at the summit of Toubkal 4167m, beautiful view of the High Atlas mountains, the southern and northern valleys. Then descent to the refuge.
Dinner and night in bivouac under tent.
5 hour walk.
DAY 3: REFUGE DU TOUBKAL - SIDI CHEMHAROUCH - AREMD - IMLIL - ASNI - MARRAKECH Breakfast and hike to the famous marabout of Sidi Chamharouch 2250m, a venerated saint, for the care of spiritual illnesses (King of the Devils) access to this magic marabout is only allowed for muslims, just a white painted rock. Lunch in Imlil and transfer back to Marrakech. Transfer to your hotel in Marrakech. (dinner not included)

7 days/6 nights (including 5 nights in bivouac)
DAY 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazte. Departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate via the Tizi N Tichka pass in the High Atlas at 2260 m altitude. Visit of the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou classified as World Heritage by Unesco. Dinner and night in a hotel at Ouarzazate.
DAY 2: Ouarzazate - Tizi N'tanifeft pass - Zagora - AGDZ - El Gatara pass After breakfast departure from Ouarzazate towards Zagora. We cross the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'tanifeft pass and arrive at the village of Agadez. We continue through the superb Draa Valley passing by Kasbahs, gardens and palm trees to Zagora. Welcome, lunch and departure in Land Rover 4x4 to reach the foot of the El Gatara pass (50 km) where the caravan awaits us for the first bivouac: tea, installation, meal and evening of your choice under a tent or under the stars depending on season.
DAY 3: Col Alaiouj - Oasis Achgig - Djebel Bani - Bouhjib Breakfast after sunrise. Departure of the caravan. We pass the Alaiouj pass and walk to the Achgig oasis where, in the shade of the palm trees, for the lunch break. Continuation of the road. and let's walk 2 hours in the small mountains of Djebel Bani. Installation of the bivouac in Bouhjib, at the exit of the mountains.
Day 4: Abidlia Great Dunes Depart after breakfast towards the dunes. Lunch break in the shade of tamarisk trees. We leave around 3 p.m. and walk more or less 2 hours through small dunes to reach the large Abidlia dunes. Installation of the bivouac, dinner and night.
Day 5: Dunes of Erg Elmhazil Departure after breakfast. We continue to walk through the dunes. Comforting midday meal in the shade. We set off again around 3 p.m. to reach the beautiful Erg Elmhazil dunes about 2 hours later. Installation of the bivouac.
Day 6: Oued Laatach - Bougaren dunes Breakfast and departure towards Oued Laatach. We take lunch in the shade of dunes and Tamarisk trees. We resume walking around 3 p.m., still in the wadi, until the Bougaren dunes. Installation of the last bivouac.
Day 7: Mhamid - Zagora - Ouarzazate Breakfast and transfer to the last village in the Draa Valley, M'hamid, in a 4x4 Land Rover along the sandy track. We continue on the paved road along the valley to Zagora where we have our last meal. Transfer to Ouarzazate at the end of the day, end of the circuit. Return to Marrakesh
